November 8, 2022, is the General Election. City residents can vote at the New Germany City Hall located at 300 Broadway Street E.

Public Accuracy Testing:

On Tuesday, October 25, 2022, a Public Accuracy Test of the electronic voting equipment will be held for the precincts listed below.  The Public Accuracy Test will be held in the Jury Assembly room in the lower level of the Courts building in the Carver County Government Center at 10:00 AM, and 6:00 PM.  (Please note that you will need to go through a security checkpoint to enter the Courts building)

If you would like to witness this demonstration, you are welcome to do so at the above-mentioned location.

New accessible voting technology

Carver County polling places will feature new assistive voting technology this year. The OmniBallot Tablet is a ballot marking device for voters with disabilities, allowing voters to mark their ballots independently and privately without using a pen.
